Copyright & Trademarks
Who owns what on Public Proof — our rights, your content, and how to report infringement.
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This page explains how copyright, trademark, and intellectual-property rights apply to Public Proof and to the content on it. For the full terms governing the license you grant when you post content, see our Terms & Conditions.
Copyright Notice
© 2026 Public Proof. All rights reserved.
The Public Proof mobile app and this website — including their design, layout, logo, branding, graphics, user-interface elements, original text, and underlying source code — are owned by Public Proof and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.
Except for content submitted by users (see Section 3), you may not copy, reproduce, modify, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App or website without our prior written permission.
Trademark Notice
“Public Proof,” the Public Proof name, and the Public Proof logo are trademarks of Public Proof. All rights in these marks are reserved.
You may not use the Public Proof name or logo — or any confusingly similar name or mark — in connection with any product, service, or promotion, or in a way that suggests affiliation with or endorsement by Public Proof, without our prior written permission. Unauthorized use of our name or logo is prohibited.
Your Content & Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you submit to Public Proof — including reviews, complaints, community posts, comments, photos, and videos. Public Proof does not claim ownership of your content.
By posting content, you grant Public Proof a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute it as needed to operate the service. This is only a brief summary — the full license-grant language, and what happens to that license when you delete your account, is set out in our Terms & Conditions (Section 6, “Your Content & Intellectual Property”).
Third-Party Content
Product names, brand names, logos, and trademarks that may appear incidentally within user-submitted content — for example, visible in a photo or mentioned in a review — are the property of their respective owners.
Their appearance on Public Proof does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from those owners, and Public Proof claims no ownership of, or rights in, third-party marks.
Copyright Infringement & Takedown Requests
If you believe content on Public Proof infringes a copyright you own or control, you can ask us to review it. Please email Publicproof7882@gmail.com and include:
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed;
- The specific content you are reporting — with enough detail (such as a screenshot, the username, or a link) for us to locate it; and
- Your name and contact information.
We review good-faith reports and may remove or restrict access to the reported content while we investigate. Please only submit reports you believe in good faith to be valid — misusing this process by sending false or bad-faith requests is not permitted.
